Our Origin

BEarth Festival was conceived as a vision – a dream received by many hearts across time.

The birthing process began with a woman, a visionary yearning to birth children, who heard the call to gather a circle. Together, they formed a council and began weaving this dream into form through connection and communication with Kalalea, the sacred mountain believed to be a birthing vortex where souls enter the Earth plane. 

As more members of the community came forth and shared their visions, an emergent truth stirred – this gathering was not new. It was a living transmission for over a decade in the hearts of the island’s midwives and birthworkers. Just days before the first council meeting, the rains came – torrential and cleansing, causing the waters to rise and overflow the dams that had long held back the sacred flow from the birthing mountain. Kalalea, whose spirit watches over the festival grounds, released her waters into the ancient birthing pools below, signaling a prophecy long spoken – when the waters return, so shall our remembering. 

Since then, the BEarth Council continues to welcome new members and voices aligned with the mission, as the land calls more conscious connection, embodiment, and service to her sacred grounds. Children gather. Mothers circle. The community comes to learn, to listen, to share. Each month, we meet in our BEarth Community Gatherings, tending the soil of our collective birth.
